Beginner obedience classes
Dublin Dog Training will no longer be offering beginners obedience classes. Agility will continue as normal.

OBEDIENCE CLASSES ENDED FOR 2022
We will not be running further beginners obedience classes for the remainder of 2022. Due to commitments John has and the reduction of daylight hours it will not be possible.
OBEDIENCE CLASSES UPDATE
We are not in a position at present to start our puppy obedience or adult obedience classes. We hope to get up and running during the month of June 2021. Will update when we know.

Puppy classes for pups 16 to 24 weeks old will start Thursday the 3rd December, these classes will be held outdoors, the course is limited to 8 dogs , the classes will run for three weeks, times of classes 12-30 till 2 the cost is €80

Obedience training 2020
We hope to recommence indoor obedience classed in Autumn 2020. At present we are catching up on classes that were stopped suddenly at the end of march due to Covid 19.
We will publish dates as soon as they are confirmed, hopefully at the end of August 2020
Uocoming obedience training classes
Because of restrictions that were implemented at the end of March, we had to abandon our ongoing evening classes. We will be recommencing these classes after June 8th all going well. We envisage that the next batch of new obedience classes will be July/August but we have no confirmed date as yet.

DUBLIN DOG TRAINING presents a 4 week course starting on Tuesday the 27th of May from 7-9pm
Week 1
Video Analysis: All participants will be recorded in the following areas:
Weaves
Start lines
Contacts.
Video analysis feedback will be given in week 2 after each video clip has been reviewed by the trainer.
Starting on Weaves the focus will be weave entry, left and right weaves and increasing speed.
Week 2:
Video feedback for each participant:
Start lines
Running starts, when to do them.
Improving start lines,
What works best for you and your dog.
Week 3

The session will focus on the A frame as an individual exercise
Followed by the dog walk
Group discussion will form part of the feedback process.
Week 4
Putting it into practice!
Each participant will complete a course that shows how they have improved since week 1.
Prizes for the best weave entry, start line and contacts.
Prize for the most improved overall participant.
The course costs €100 for 4 weeks (payable in full at week 1)

The Working Canine Association of Ireland are holding their 2nd Fun Agility Training Day of Autumn/Winter 2013 on Sunday 20th of October at Athy, Co. Kildare. This is a great opportunity to train your dog in a competition setting. All are welcome.

Collection for the homeless
We are collecting winter woollies for the homeless if anyone wants to donate anything we will be putting a box in the agility bus and a box in the barn.
