Testimonial: Fidelma Ayres & Ellie

fidelmaI took my 1yr old border collie Ellie, a rescue dog to John Ward in November 2008. She was quite antisocial and hard to control both on and off lead. We registered for beginner’s obedience classes and John worked with her every week, showing me how to help her overcome these issues. When I was at the point that I wanted to give up on Ellie, John calmly worked with her with great patience and gradually we turned the corner. Within a few weeks she was virtually a changed dog and became happier and more content. John has such a calming influence on all the dogs he works with. Ellie is no longer the aggressive frightened dog we first knew and now loves her obedience and agility classes with John. There is a great atmosphere within each class, and everyone is supportive of one another.

To date we have completed beginners and advanced obedience courses, have passed our Good Citizen Test and continue to attend both obedience and agility classes every week which both dogs and handlers find immensely satisfying and very enjoyable. Ellie has taken part in several competitions and has won 3 rosettes so far. I would highly recommend Dublin Dog Training to all dog owners whether your dog has a problem or not, you will both benefit greatly from obedience training with John, thoroughly enjoy agility and always get great value for your money.
